Sacred Dancers

Dance an expression of your soul

Dance and it shall make you whole

Dance until your body’s spent

Dance and set your spirit free.

Dance down the days

In steps of praise

Feel it in your heartbeat

Feel it in your toes

Dance and the angels dance with you.

Angels lean out their windows to see

The children of God

Dancing in glee.

A Christmas Poem: Believe

Believe

"Do you believe in angels?"

A friend asked me that.
 

                                   Yes I do. Certainly I do.

How do I know?

I just know.

 The angel Gabriel

messenger from God

Came to tell Mary that she would conceive—

 

By the Holy Spirit

 said he.

And Mary believed.

In her heart, she believed.

By the Holy Spirit Christ was born

On Christmas Day.

So let us all celebrate

 this Holy Christmas Day

When the Divine Child was born in Bethlehem

Jesus the Son of God

And is born within us all again and again.

 Believe.

Do you believe in angels?

How do I know?

I just know.

Madonna of the Rocks by Leonardo Da Vinci and Angels

 

Leonardo Da Vinci's Virgin of the Rocks from the Louvre in Paris.

The angels on either side are by his associates and are found by his other similar painting in London's National Gallery.

I imagine that angels dressed in red and green are among us all the time, but we are usually not aware of them.
