Rainbow Trout or Steelhead

The rainbow trout planted in tributary streams grow large in the Great Lakes. Great Lakes steelhead are similar to rainbow trout but are two to ten times larger. They begin their life in streams then head out into the Great Lakes where they grow large. They return to the place where they hatched from the egg to spawn.
excerpt from my book, The Dynamic Great Lakes.
