Titanium Moon
Titanium moon blinds my eyes
blue goose flesh
on the blue lake’s face.
Winter is a coming in.
And morning brings a bright full moon
soon occluded by gray vagrants
who move across the sky.
The blue faced lake
now erased
and turned to leaden hue.
All titanium glitter gone from the sea
All glitter gone--we’ll have to buy
a Christmas tree.
