South Carolina

In a bird watching area, I saw a mocking bird, blue heron, many pelicans, saw and heard a Carolina chickadee and a pair of eagles, white egrets and buzzards, a chubby Carolina wren I heard manyh bird songs I could not identify.

The fishing is important here.  We have enjoyed steamed oysters and fresh shrimp gumbo.  We take note of high and low tides.  We had fresh whiting for dinner caught off of the dock.

The sun is shining today

Close by, a turtle pretends not to hear.
